A rake, not a bucket: the tines comb through the top layer and pull out what does not belong there — roots, stones, rubble, buried scrap — while the soil falls back through the gaps instead of being carried away with it. Used for clearing ground before earthworks, cleaning up after demolition and picking material out of a stockpile.
